Seanán (shan-AWN) is a hunted man. Or, perhaps, haunted.
Embraced just prior to the Sabbat invasion of New York, Sean was a mortal occult “scholar,” inasmuch as anyone can be a scholar of the occult without being paraded in front of the cameras of the Discovery Channel’s latest “reality” show. He had been doing research in the New York Public Library when he was discovered by the local Tremere, and had barely had the time to come to grips with his new condition when the Sabbat invaded in ’99.
When the Camarilla showed up, he was quickly discovered hiding in the burnt remains of the Tremere Chantry, apparently the sole survivor.
The newly-arrived Kindred taught him what he needed to know, but seemed nervous staying in one place for too long, perhaps a psychological fear of the Sabbat finding him again. Claiming the massacre of his Chantrymates was too fresh, he departed, heading west. He has only recently arrived in Cleveland.
He wears the typical Tremere haughty attitude, although it seems ill-fitting at times. Despite his occasional nervousness, Sean remains curious and studious, with a tendency to spend a little too long examining the latest tidbit of revealed knowledge, even if this threatens his sense of security. He’s recently felt drawn to CWRU: he’s been heard mumbling something about experiments with the aether.
